My original intention was to build as much as I could but after weighing the cost of materials and time I decided to go ahead and order the legs for my R2 unit. The legs are made of baltic birch and includes the two outer legs and the center leg and can be purchased from the Atlanta Area R2 builders via www.r2atl.org and as always can also be obtained from the R2 Builders site at astromech.net during parts runs.
